Acceptable Use Policy

1. Permitted Use

Vigru is designed for personal scam detection. You may use the service to:

  • Analyze messages you have received (SMS, emails, social media messages) to determine if they may be scams
  • Check links for potential phishing or malicious content
  • Verify the legitimacy of communications from unknown senders
  • Educate yourself about common scam patterns and techniques

2. Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use Vigru to:

Create or Improve Scams

  • Test scam messages to make them less detectable
  • Use Vigru's feedback to craft more convincing fraudulent messages
  • Develop or refine phishing campaigns

Reverse-Engineer or Attack the Service

  • Submit messages designed to reverse-engineer our AI detection methods
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service
  • Attempt to bypass security measures, rate limiting, or access controls
  • Decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer any part of the service

Abuse the Service

  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers without prior written permission
  • Flood the service with excessive requests (rate abuse)
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
  • Impersonate other users or entities

Submit Prohibited Content

  • Illegal content of any kind
  • Content that exploits or harms minors
  • Content intended to harass, threaten, or defame others

Other Prohibited Activities

  • Use the service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the service without authorization

3. Enforcement

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:

  1. Warning — for minor or first-time violations, we may issue a warning and request corrective action
  2. Temporary suspension — your account may be suspended while we investigate the violation
  3. Permanent termination — serious or repeated violations will result in permanent account termination
  4. Legal action — in severe cases, we may pursue legal remedies

We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether a use of the service constitutes a violation of this policy.

4. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any misuse of Vigru or violations of this policy, please report it to us at abuse@vigru.ai. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
