Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) applies to your access to and use of the Vigru web application and related services made available through https://vigru.ai (collectively, the “Service”) by Books & Mirror Inc., a Delaware corporation (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this Policy at all times.

1. Permitted Use

The Service is designed for personal, non-commercial use to help you assess whether communications you have received may be scams, phishing attempts, or other fraudulent messages. Permitted uses include:

  • analyzing messages or other communications you have received to determine if they may be scams;
  • checking links for potential phishing;
  • verifying the legitimacy of communications from unknown senders; and
  • educating yourself about common scam patterns.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not, and may not permit any third party to, do any of the following:

Copying and Reverse Engineering

  • copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Service or any part of it, including any content, design, interface, branding, models, prompts, or output;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, models, prompts, algorithms, logic, workflows, security rules, or underlying structure of the Service;
  • access or use the Service or any output to develop, train, improve, benchmark, evaluate, or provide a competing product or service, or to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve any artificial intelligence or machine-learning model.

Disruption and Circumvention

  • interfere with, disrupt, overload, or impair the Service or any systems, networks, or infrastructure used to provide the Service, including by introducing viruses, worms, ransomware, or other malicious code, or by conducting any denial-of-service or similar attack;
  • bypass, disable, or circumvent any security, rate-limiting, authentication, access-control, usage-limit, or subscription-control measure, or attempt to do so, or create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or other restrictions;
  • use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers without prior written permission; flood the service with excessive requests; or impersonate other users or entities.

Creating or Improving Scams

  • use the Service to create, test, refine, evade detection of, or improve scams, phishing attacks, fraud schemes, malware, social-engineering techniques, deceptive marketing, or other harmful or unlawful activity; or
  • submit content for the purpose of evaluating whether it would evade scam-detection systems or for any other adversarial purpose against the Service or its detection methodologies.

Commercial Exploitation

  • use the Service for any commercial purpose, including by reselling, sublicensing, white-labeling, or otherwise making the Service or its output available to third parties as a service, except as expressly authorized by us in writing.

Prohibited Content

You may not submit, post, or transmit through the Service any content that: (i) is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful, obscene, or pornographic; (ii) infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, or other intellectual property right; (iii) violates the privacy or publicity rights of any person; (iv) exploits, sexualizes, or endangers minors, or contains child sexual abuse material; (v) contains malware, ransomware, viruses, or any other harmful code; or (vi) otherwise violates applicable law or the rights of any person.

3. Enforcement

We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to investigate, monitor, and review use of the Service for compliance with this Policy. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated or may violate this Policy, we may take any action we deem appropriate, including:

  1. issuing a warning;
  2. removing, restricting access to, or refusing to process the user content in question;
  3. suspending or terminating your account, with or without notice;
  4. reporting the violation to law-enforcement authorities or other appropriate parties; and
  5. pursuing civil remedies, including injunctive relief and damages.

4. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any actual or suspected violation of this Policy, please report it to us at abuse@vigru.ai. Please include sufficient detail to allow us to investigate, including the nature of the violation, any relevant account information, and any supporting evidence.

5. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via email or the Service before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
