1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve efficiency, and provide information to site operators.
2. Cookies We Use
Vigru uses a minimal set of cookies, limited to what is strictly necessary for the service to function:
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supabase auth token | Keeps you signed in to your account | Essential | Session / persistent |
What we do NOT use:
- Analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Hotjar)
- Advertising or tracking cookies
- Social media cookies
- Third-party marketing cookies
Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, no cookie consent banner is required under EU ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC). Essential cookies are exempt from consent requirements.
3. How to Manage Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in to Vigru.
Most browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies are stored and delete them individually
- Block third-party cookies (though we don't use any)
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all cookies
- Delete all cookies when you close your browser
4. Contact
If you have any questions about our use of cookies, please contact us at privacy@vigru.ai.
